Can I use any hospital or clinic?
You can choose between the partner network, at reduced cost, or providers outside it, with partial reimbursement, depending on your plan.
How does health insurance differ from the SNS, ADSE or other health schemes?
They complement each other. Private health insurance gives you faster access and more freedom of choice, and can be used alongside the SNS or any other scheme you already have.
From what age can I take out a policy?
There is practically no minimum age — you can include your children from birth. For older ages, there are specific plans with their own conditions.
